I have never had such a horrible customer service experience that I have had with Fido in the last two months since I got my I*Phone. I travel to the states often and 4 out of 5 times I have problems with my voicemail. My phone is off and it does not go to my voicemail, it just rings then a prompt “your call cannot be completed as dialed” comes on. Then when I am home in B.C I have the same voicemail problems, texts coming late from sender and not coming though at all, and then all the dropped calls.
I rely on this line for my small business and when I can’t get messages from new and existing clients it hurts my bottom line.
I have spent hours on the phone with Fido; they first sent me to the Apple Store to make sure it was not “the device”. After finding out that the device is not the issue I called Fido and got treated like a piece of sh!t. They gave me a $25 credit for my time of going to the Apple store, (that covers gas barely) I was charged for services that I didn’t use. They charged me for calls made from the U.S. from my phone 2 my phone when my phone was off (total $54) This is just the beginning of it.
Fido sucks.

I have been putting off getting an iPhone, but hearing this makes me want to put it off even longer. I actually just go this exact message while trying the demo phone at a Rogers store here in Toronto. First page loaded up lightning fast and then bang, I couldn't get any more pages to load. The whole reason I want an iPhone is for mobile browsing, and for the atrocious prices we pay our 3G connectivity should be rock solid.

I get the same error message as well. I updated my firmware last nite... man that took forever.... Hoping this will stop. My internet has been really slow as well and I have been bouncing back and forth from Edge to 3G on a moments notice in the exact same spot... weird.
